Custom Printing & Decoration Terms

These Custom Printing & Decoration Terms ("Custom Terms") govern custom, contract, and bulk decoration orders placed with Marauder Merchandise ("Marauder Merchandise," "we," "us," or "our") — including screen printing, embroidery, and other decoration of apparel and merchandise. By approving a quote or proof, submitting payment, or otherwise authorizing production, you agree to these Custom Terms. Purchases of individual in-stock items from our online store are governed by our Online Store Terms of Sale instead.

1. Quotes and Order Acceptance

Quotes are based on the details you provide (quantities, item types, decoration, colors, and artwork) and are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise. An order is accepted, and your production slot is reserved, only after you approve the quote and proof and we receive payment.

2. Payment

Custom orders must be paid in full before production begins. We begin production only after both payment and proof approval are received. Prices may be adjusted if you change quantities, items, or decoration after the quote is issued.

3. Artwork and Proof Approval

You are responsible for supplying usable artwork or for approving artwork we prepare. We provide a digital proof showing your decoration, placement, sizing, and colors. It is your responsibility to review and approve the proof, including spelling, layout, sizes, quantities, item selection, and colors. Production begins only after you approve the proof, and your approval authorizes us to produce the order as shown. We are not responsible for errors in an approved proof, including spelling, sizing, color, or placement decisions you approved. Art preparation or setup beyond reasonable adjustments may incur a fee, which we will disclose in advance.

4. Artwork Ownership and Intellectual Property

You represent and warrant that you own or have the right to use and reproduce all artwork, logos, names, and content you submit, and that producing your order will not infringe anyone's rights. You agree to indemnify and hold Marauder Merchandise harmless from any claim arising out of the content you supply, including copyright, trademark, or other intellectual-property claims. Unless you tell us otherwise in writing, we may display samples of completed work in our portfolio and marketing.

5. Turnaround Time

Standard production turnaround is approximately 10–14 business days after proof approval and payment are received. Turnaround is an estimate, not a guarantee, and does not include shipping transit time. Rush production may be available on request and may incur additional fees; rush orders typically require payment in full and confirmed artwork before scheduling.

6. Production Variances and Spoilage

The decoration process can occasionally result in a small number of misprinted or damaged pieces. Consistent with industry practice, we allow a spoilage margin of up to approximately 3% of an order, and we are not liable for spoilage within that margin. For larger shortfalls caused by our error, we will, at our option, reprint, replace, or refund the affected pieces. Because exact piece counts cannot always be guaranteed, we recommend ordering a few extra pieces for size- or count-critical jobs.

7. Customer-Supplied Garments

We accept customer-supplied garments on a case-by-case basis, by quote. When we decorate items you supply, they are decorated at your risk. We are not responsible for items damaged or lost during normal production, or for issues arising from the goods themselves — including manufacturer defects, dye migration, shrinkage, inconsistent manufacturer sizing, or fabric that does not hold decoration well. Spoilage credits and replacements do not apply to customer-supplied goods, and you are responsible for providing sufficient quantity to allow for normal spoilage. We count and inspect supplied goods on receipt but are not responsible for counts or defects not identified at that time.

8. Color Matching

Screen and ink colors are reproduced as closely as reasonably possible but are approximate. Exact color or Pantone matches are not guaranteed, and colors may vary by fabric, material, dye lot, and decoration method.

9. Product Availability and Substitution

Blank goods are subject to availability from our suppliers. If an item, color, or size becomes unavailable after your order, we will contact you to arrange a comparable substitute or to adjust the order.

10. Changes and Cancellation

Requests to change an order may be accommodated before proof approval and production. Once you have approved the proof and production has begun, orders cannot be changed or canceled, and payments are non-refundable, including amounts for work, materials, and goods already committed.

11. Claims

Please inspect your order promptly on receipt. To make a claim for a defect, error caused by us, or shortage, contact us at orders@maraudermerchandise.com within 15 days of the ship date with your order number and photos of the issue. If we confirm the problem, your exclusive remedy is, at our option, a reprint, replacement, or refund of the affected pieces. Claims made after 15 days may not be accepted.

12. Shipping and Risk of Loss

Custom orders ship by the method agreed at order time, or are made available for pickup. Transit times depend on the carrier and destination and are not guaranteed. Title and risk of loss pass to you when the order is handed to the carrier or picked up.

13. Unclaimed or Abandoned Orders

Completed orders not picked up or for which final arrangements are not made within 30 days of notification may be treated as abandoned, and we are not responsible for storing them indefinitely.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the total liability of Marauder Merchandise arising out of or relating to a custom order is limited to the amount you paid for the affected portion of the order. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits, missed events, or business interruption.

15. Governing Law

These Custom Terms, and any dispute arising out of or relating to a custom order, are governed by the laws of the State of Kansas and applicable United States federal law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Venue for any dispute lies in the state or federal courts located in the State of Kansas.
